CHAPTER 86.
(Senate Bill 69)

AN ACT to repeal Section 35 of Article 17 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Clerks of Courts",
sub-title "General Duties of Clerks", said section relating
to the keeping of records by clerks of courts of judgments
by the United States Courts.

WHEREAS, Sections 16A-16D, inclusive, of said Article
(1943 Supplement) cover the same subject more completely,
thereby making said Section 35 unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 35 of Article 17 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Clerks of Courts", sub-
title "General Duties of Clerks", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

Approved March 3, 1947.

CHAPTER 87.

(Senate Bill 76)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
19 of Article 75 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Professional Engineers and Land
Surveyors", providing that appeals from the denial or revo-
cation of a certificate of registration shall be directed to
the Baltimore City Court.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 19 of Article 75 1/2 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Professional Engineers
and Land Surveyors", be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

19. (Revocations.) (a) The Board shall have the power
to revoke the certificate of registration of any registrant who
is found guilty of:

(1) The practice of any fraud or deceit in obtaining
a certificate of registration;
