the public are increased by the addition to the present
building of one or more wings at a cost of at least One
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00), then and in
that event upon the completion of the said addition the
County Commissioners of Washington County are author-
ized and directed to enter into a contract with said Mu-
seum whereby they shall contract to contribute annually
in perpetuity the total sum of Ten Thousand Dollars
($10,000.00) per annum for the care and maintenance of
the said The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts.
687. The said County Commissioners of Washington
County are hereby authorized and empowered to levy and
collect annually, on the assessable property of said County,
the sums required under the provisions of the foregoing
section.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Para-
graph (c) 2. (v) of Sub-section (13A) of Section 6 of
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
codified as Sub-section (25) of Section 6 of the Balti-
more City Charter adopted by the voters of Baltimore
City at the election held on November 5, 1946, title
"Baltimore City", sub-title "General Powers", as said
paragraph was enacted by Chapter 1012 of the Acts of
1945, relating to the exercise of the power of eminent
domain by the Baltimore Redevelopment Commission to
acquire land for redevelopment.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Paragraph (c) 2. (v) of Sub-section (13A) of Sec-
tion 6 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, codified as Sub-section (25) of Section 6 of
the Baltimore City Charter adopted by the voters of Bal-
timore City at the election held on November 5, 1946, title
"Baltimore City", sub-title "General Powers", as said
paragraph was enacted by Chapter 1012 of the Acts of
1945, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments to read as follows.
