June 13, 1877.—Noah Stockdale, Jr., Officer of Registration
for 4th district vice Daniel Ebaugh, re-
signed.

Nov. 20, 1877.—Richard Dell, Justice of the Peace for 3d
district vice Samuel Messenger, deceased.

On motion by Mr. Lee,

The aforegoing nominations were referred to the Commit-
tee on Executive Nominations.

Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I herewith transmit to you a list of Executive appoint-
ments made for Cecil County during the recess of the Legis-
lature.

JOHN LEE CARROLL.

May 16, 1876.—Isaac N. Benjamin, Justice of the Peace for
5th district, to supply the number the dis-
trict is entitled to.

May 25, 1876.—James Cummings, Justice of the Peace for
8th district, to supply the number the dis-
trict is entitled to.

July 26, 1876.—Robert Burroughs, Justice of the Peace for
7th district vice self, who failed to qualify.

Aug. 9, 1876.—Horace H. Duychinks, Officer of Registra-
tion for 9th district vice self, who failed to
qualify.

Aug. 16, 1876.—Samuel B. Foard, Justice of the Peace for
3d district vice Joseph R. Brown, resigned.

Aug. 24, 1876.—William O, Gilmour, Officer of Registra-
tion for 3d district vice W. R. Gilpin, re-
signed.

Oct. 4, 1876.—William R. Gilpin, Notary Public at Elkton
vice Samuel B. Foard, resigned.

Aug. 16, 1877.—John B. Abrahams, Officer of Registration
for 7th district vice D. M. McClenahan,.
resigned.

Sep. 19, 1877.—David Wherry, Justice of the Peace for
9th district vice Stephen Gilbert, deceased.

On motion by Mr. Miller,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments.
