mittee on Finance.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to regulate taking and catching

of fish in the waters of Wicomico river, and for the protec-
tion of the same.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Humphreys, Dennis and Franklin.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to prevent the increase of gates
in Calvert County, and provide for their removal from the

mail route in said county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Wilson, Bannon and Newcomer.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to protect diamond back terra-
pins in the waters of the State of Maryland.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-

mittee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to authorize ihe County Com-
missioners of Frederick County to issue bonds bearing inter-
est at the rate of 5 per cent, per annum, to raise money to
pay off the present indebtedness of said county, bearing six
per cent, interest per annum, and to levy and collect the
necessary taxes for the payment of such 5 per cent, bonds,
and the interest thereon.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Steiner, Freeman and Humphreys.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to supplement an Act passed at
January Session, 1872, Chapter 282, entitled an Act for the
promotion and improvement of agriculture and the mechani-
cal and household arts in the State of Maryland, in so far as
the same relates to Allegany County.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Combs, of Allegany, Dennis and Newcomer.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commissioners
of Talbot County to pay the-indexing of last wills of citizens

of said, county.
