the General Assembly of Maryland, at January Session of
1865, Chapter 5.

mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to add certain new sections to
the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Allegany County,"
sub-title "Flour," and to come after Section 71.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Combs, of Allegany, Stump and Dennis.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to fund its floating debt by the issue of
the stock of said corporation t) an amount not exceeding
$1,500,000.00.

Which was read the first time, aud referred to the Balti-
more City Senators.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 847, of Article
4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore City,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Balti-
more City Senators.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act making appropriations for the
support of the State Government for nine months of the fiscal
year ending on the 30th of September, 1878.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal the 89th Section of the
16th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Chancery," and relating to non-resident infant defendants,
as amended by the Act of 1868, Chapter 200, and to inser-
in said Article in lieu of the section so repealed, the follow-
ing section, to process against non-resident infant defendants.

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
