The President presented to the Senate the following com-
munication from the Executive:

Gentlemen of the Senate ;
I herewith transmit to you a list of Senate bills which I
have approved and signed during the present Session of the
Legislature.
JOHN LEE CARROLL.
No. 9. An Act to authorize Elijah S. Adkinson to settle
his account as guardian to Covington S. H. Littleton, and to
deliver over the estate to the said ward.
No. 10. An Act to provide for the payment of the expen-
ses incurred on the part of the State of Maryland in the ad-
justment of the boundary line between the States of Maryland
and Virginia by arbitration, and to appropriate a sum of
money therefor.
No. 11. An Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay the
Electors of President and Vice President of the United States
in and for the State of Maryland, their offices and attendants.
No. 12. An Act to regulate the compensation of the Sheriff
of Prince George's County for keeping and boarding prison-
ers in jail.
No. 13. An Act, to authorize and direct the County Com-
missioners of Talbot County to appoint an additional Con-
stable for the First Election District, of said county.
No. 14. An Act to repeal Section two, of Article seven, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Carroll County,"
sub-title "Almshouses," and to amend and re-enact the same.
No. 15. An Act to repeal and re-enact Section twenty-nine,
of Chapter one hundred and fifty one, of the Acts of eighteen
hundred and seventy-two, entitled an Act to incorporate the
town of Crisfield, in Somerset County.
No. 16. An Act to provide for the further extension of the
charter of the Fredericktown Savings Institution, supple-
mentary to an Act passed at January Session, eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-eight, Chapter one hundred and sixty-two, en-
titled a further supplement to an Act entitled an Act to
incorporate the Fredericktown Savings Institution, passed at
December Session, eighteen hundred and twenty-six, March
the ninth, eighteen hundred and twenty-seven, Chapter one
hundred and eighty-nine, repealing the first Section thereof,
and re-enacting the same with amendments.
