644 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 21,

Senate bill entitled an Act to enlarge the privileges of
licensed Hotel-Keepers,

It was rejected by yeas and nays as follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Dennis, Hill,

Freeman, Lancaster,

Garey, Sulivane— 6.
NEGATIVE.

Messrs. President, Joyce,

Bannon, Lee,

Combs, of Allegany, McLane,

Cooper, Miller,

Franklin, Newcomer,

Gorman, Steiner,

Hepbron, Stump,

Humphreys, Wilson—16.

Mr. Gorman moved that

Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters
of Charles County, of this State, to determine, by ballot,
whether spirituous, fermented or other intoxicating liquors

shall be sold in said county,

Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit the granting of li-

cense for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors, or lager
beer, at or within one mile of the village of Wetheredsville,
in Baltimore County,

And Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters
of Carroll County, to determine, by ballot, whether spirituous
or fermented liquors shall be sold in said county,

Be re-committed to the Committee on Finance.
Which was adopted, by yeas and nays, as follows :
