House Joint Resolutions directing the State Librarian to fur-
nish the Clerk of the Baltimore City Court with certain books.

Which were read the second time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

Mr. Stump, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact Section
66, of Article 51, of the Code of Public General Laws of the
State of Maryland, relating to judgments of Justices of the
Peace, passed at January Session, 1868, so far as the same
relates to Harford, Cecil, Worcester and Dorchester Counties.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Joyce, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 151, of Arti-
cle 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore City,
relating to Coroners and Inquests, as amended by Chapter
45, of the Acts of 1872, and re-enact the same to read as fol-
lows.

Which was read the first time.

Senate Joint Resolution in relation to Samuel Chase Bar-
ney, ex-Lieutenant of the United States Navy,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to change the name of Hungary
Neck, or Election District No. 5, in Somerset County, to
Mount Vernon District, of Election District No. 5,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a.
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Section 3, of Chapter
367, of the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to enable the Com-
missioners of Somerset County to provide a fund for the re-
demption of outstanding county bonds, by repealing said Sec-
tion 3, and re-enacting the same with amendments,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate the catching of fish
in the waters of Wye and Miles Rivers, and to regulate the
taking of terrapins in said rivers, and the Choptank River,
in Talbot County,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
