Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to William Howard,
of Wicomico County, a sum of money improperly paid into
the Treasury.

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following message:

Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message requesting the return of
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Garrett County to correct the assessment made un-
der Chapter 260 of the Laws of Maryland of 1876, on the
shares of stock of the Lochiel Lumber, Mining, Manufactu-
ring and Improvement Company of Allegany County, and
herewith return the same.
