House bill entitled an Act to remove the limitations of the
existence of St. John's Cemetery, of Howard County.

Which was. read the first time and referred to Senators
Gorman, Hill and Peter.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act providing for the relocation and
straightening of Water street and the extension of Green
street, in the City of Cumberland, and for the grading, re-
curbing and repairing thereof.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction of the
General Assembly of Maryland, to the bequest of David
Johnson, late of the City of Baltimore, deceased, to the
Second Universalist Society of the City of Baltimore.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Balti-
more City Senators.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 6, of Chapter
341, of the Acts of 1872, relating to Hawks and Owls in
Carroll County.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Lee, Ford, and Combs, of St. Mary's.

Mr. Steiner, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act passed
at the January Session, 1876, entitled an Act to amend an
Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Methodist Episcopal
Church of Frederick, passed February 24th, 1841, Chapter
125.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Sulivane, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1, of the Acts
passed January Session, 1876, entitled an Act to protect fish
in the Black Water River, in Dorchester County, and to
enact the following in lieu thereof,
