Mr. Franklin, from a Select Committee, reported favora-
bly,

House bill entitled an Act to approve, confirm and ratify
the award made by the Hon. Jeremiah S. Black, James B.
Beck and Charles H. Jenkins, arbitrators appointed to ascer-
tain and fix the boundary between the States of Virginia and
Maryland.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Garey, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the appointment of
an additional Justice of the Peace for Caroline County.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Dennis, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to change the name of Hungary
Neck or Election District No. 5, in Somerset County, to
Mount Vernon District or Election District No. 5.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Combs, of Allegany, from a Select Committee, report-
ed favorably,

House bill entitled an Act for the relief of the Bar Associ-
ation of Allegany County;

Which was read the second time.

Mr. McLane, from the Committee on Finance, reported fa-
vorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act-to repeal Section 11, of Article
38, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Fees of Offi-
cers," and to re enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to compensate George Y. May-
nadier and William Young for legal services rendered the
State.

Which was read the first time.
Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to transfer to the Counties of
Allegany and Garrett the control of the National Turnpike
or United States Road throughsaid counties, and to provide
for the maintenance thereof,
