Senate bill entitled an Act to add two additional sections
to Article 14, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"Kent County," to be known as Sections 221 and 222.

Mr. Franklin, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the appointment of
Commissioners to adjust and settle the Boundary Line be-
tween West Virginia and Maryland.
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Combs, of Allegany, from a Select Committee, report-
ed favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed at Jan-
nary Session, 1864, Chapter 303, entitled an Act to provide
for the appointment of three superintendents to supervise
and control the repairs and improvements of the public
county road in Allegany County, leading from Barrallville
to Westernport, in said county, and to authorize and require
the County Commissioners of said county to make levies for
the repair and improvement of the same, and to enact the
following sections in lieu of said Act so repealed.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Chapter 181, of the
Acts of 1876, entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Allegany County to levy a tax on dogs in said
county, and to enact the following in lieu thereof.
With the following proposed amendments :

Strike out all after the words " a bill,"and insert the
following in lieu thereof:
"Entitled an Act to repeal Section 2, of the Acts of the
General Assembly, passed at its January Session, 1876,
Chapter 181, entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Allegany County to levy a tax on dogs in
said county, and re-enact the same with amendments.
"Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section two, of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly, passed at January Session, eighteen hundred and
seventy-six, Chapter one hundred and eighty-one, entitled
an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Allegany
