House, in Chestertown, under the power and charge of the
County Commissioners of said county, with power to enclose
the same in connection with the Court House ground, and to
punish all trespassers upon the same.

Which was read and referred to Senators Hepbron, Ford
and Miller.

Mr. Humphreys presented the petition from the Board of
Directors of the Agricultural and Mechanical Association of
Wicomico County, asking for incorporation of said Associa-
tion.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor-
porations.

Mr. McLane presented the memorial of Joseph A. Thomas,
praying the General Assembly to legalize a supplement of
the Code of Public General Laws containg the Acts from
1861 to 1878.

Whicb was read and referred to the Committee on Ju-
dicial Proceedings.

On motion by Mr. Lee,

The vote by which,

Senate bill entitled an act to repeal Sections 2 and 5, of
the Acts of 1872, Chapter 264, relating to the licensing of
gaugers of casks and liquids in the City of Baltimore, and to
re-enact the same with amendments,

Was ordered to be engrossed for a third reading,
Was reconsidered.

Said bill being upon its second reading.
Al r. Lee submitted the following proposed amendments :
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In title, line 3, strike out the word "title," and insert in
lieu thereof, the word "entitled."

Alter the title insert the following :

Sec. 1. Be it enactedby the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 2 and 5, of Chapter 264, of the Public Local
Laws of Baltimore City, passed at the January Session, 1872,
entitled an Act to provide for the licensing of gaugers of
casks and liquids for the City of Baltimore, and for providing
for the duties thereof, be, and the same are hereby, repealed
and re-enacted so as to read as follows.
