Mr. Sulivane submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

After the word "County," in line 7, Section 2, insert the
following :

"And to no other purpose whatsoever, but the said Com-
missioners shall always purchase the bonds of the county, at
a price not exceeding par, when the same are offered, in prefer-
ence to investing said moneys raised as aforesaid.

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time, and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 173, of Article
30, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Crimes
and Punishments," sub-title "Rogues and Vagabonds," and
to re-enact the same with amendments,
