House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-

missioners of Harford County to levy a sum of money as a
pension for William L. Bailey, of said county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Stump, Sulivane and Peter.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to add certain sub-sections to
the Code of Public Local Laws for Somerset County, under
the heading of "Roads," to come in after Section 164, pro-
viding for proper repairs and ditching of public roads.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Dennis, McLane and Sulivane.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Chapter 429, of the
Acts passed at the January Session, 1874, entitled an Act to
incorporate a company to construct a turnpike road from Ha-
gerstown, in Washington County, to the town of Sharps-
burg, passed at the January Session, 1853, Chapter 129, and
to re-enact the said section with amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Cjm-
mittee on Corporations.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate a Company to

make a turnpike road from Unionville, in Frederick County,
to intersect the Union Bridge Turnpike Road, at or near the

dwelling house of David Wolf, in same county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
miittee on Corporations.

House bill entitled an Act relating to Justices of the Peace
in and for Washington County.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Newcomer, Peter and Gorman.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the granting of li-
cense for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager
beer, within the village of Darlington, in Harford County,
or within one mile from the Academy building, ia said vil-
lage.
