Senate bill entitled an Act for the Prevention oi Cruelty to
Animals in the State of Maryland,

Was read the third time, and rejected, for want of a con-
stitutional majority, by yeas and nays, as follows :

Freeman, Steiner,
Garey, Sulivane,
Hill, Weiney,
Lancaster, Wilson—12.

NEGATIVE.

The vote by which said bill was rejected for the want of a
constitutional majority,

Was reconsidered.

Senate bill entitled an Act to protect the rights of property
in Dorchester County,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
