House bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction of the
General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest of Gesina Man-
anna Drege, late of the City of Baltimore, deceased, to the
St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Unaltered
Augsburg Confession.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to pay to Margarets. Mitchell,
a widow, and to William B. Wirt, John S. Wirt and Henry
B. Wirt, a sum of money erroneously paid into the Treasury.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the issuing of pol-
icies of life insurance in this State, for the benefit of the wife,
children, dependent relative or creditor, upon the life of any
person in the State.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to give additional corporate
powers to the House of the Good Shepherd of the City of
Baltimore, and to provide for the commitments thereto of dis-
solute and disorderly females, for the purpose of reforma-
tion.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to refund at a lower rate of in-
terest part of the debt of Washington County, and to em-
power the County Commissioners of Washington County to
call in the bonds of said county, issued pursuant to an Act
of Assembly, passed at the January Session, 1866, Chapter
19, and an Act passed at the January Session, 1874, Chapter
145.
