amendments.

The further consideration of which was,
On motion by Mr. Gorman,

Postponed and made the order of the day for Monday,
March the 4th.

The President announced the second order of the day
to be

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 4, of Article-
64, of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
"Mortgages."

Said bill being upon its second reading,

Mr. McLane moved that it be recommitted to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Pending the consideration of said amendment,
Mr. Bannon moved that the Senate adjourn.
Which was rejected.
At 3.20, P. M.,

On motion by Mr. McLane,
The Senate adjourned by yeas and nays as follows :
