Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Fines and Forfeit-
ures," to come in after Section 3, and to amend and re-enact
said Section 4.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Garey, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Caroline County to levy a sum of money as a
pension for Mary Gannon, of said county.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Combs, of Allegany, from a ?elect Committee, reported
favorably the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 62, of Article
1, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Allegany County,"
sub-title ''Elections," and to enact other sections in lieu
thereof.

House bill entitled an Act to add a new section to Article
1, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Allegany
County," sab title "Surveyor," to Section 202.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of Allegany County to investigate the
claim of William H. Moore, and levy and pay him such sum
as they may find to be just

Which was read the second time.

Mr. McLane, from the Committee on Finance, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Chapter 251, of the
Acts of 1876, entitled an Act to refund to the executors or
administrators of Samuel H. Birckhead, deceased, late Col-
lector of Taxes of the First District of Harford County, a
sum of money erroneously paid into the Treasury.

Which was read the first time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared, and re-
turned

Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
the 10th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Attachments."

Endorsed: "Reported unfavorably from the Committee on
the Judiciary acd unfavorable report adopted."
