Said resolutions were then sent to the House of Delegates.

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment of
the expenses incurred on the part of the State of Maryland in
the adjustment of the boundary line between the States of
Maryland and Virginia by arbitration, and to appropriate a
sum of money therefor,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

The President appointed Senators Franklin, Peter, Den-
nis, Bannon and Welfley, a Special Committee of five on such
portions of the Governor's Message as relates to the Bounda-
ry Question.

On motion by Mr. Ford,
At 12. 40 P. M., the Senate wen£ into Executive Session.

At 12. 52 P. M., the Senate resumed the consideration o£
Legislative business.

On motion by Mr. Ford,
At 12. 55 P. M., the Senate adjourned.
