37, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Evi-
dence," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Mr. Hill, from the Committee on Agriculture, reported
unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1872, Chap-
ter 244, authorizing the Governor to appoint Weighers of
Grain.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Ford, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit stock from running
at large on the public roads in School District, No. 6, of
Election District, No. 1, of Queen Anne's County.

Mr. Peter, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to create a new election district
in Montgomery County, to be known as Bethesda District,
No. 7, or the 7th Election District of Montgomery County.

County Commissioners of Allegany County to investigate the
claim of John Welch, of said county, for taxes paid in error,
and to levy and refund to him such sum as in their discretion
they may find to be justly due him.
