On motion by Mr. Bannon,
The further consideration of said bill was postponed.

On motion by Mr. Bannon,
At 2.20 P. M., the Senate went into Executive Session.

At 2.45 P. M., the Senate resumed the consideration of
Legislative business.

The Senate adjourned.

Present at roll call the following Senators :

Dennis, Ford, Franklin, Freeman, Garey, Gorman, Hep-
bron, Hill, Humphreys, Joyce, Lancaster, Lee, McLane,
Miller, Peter, Stump, Sulivane, Welfley, Wilson—23.

The proceedings of Friday were read and approved.

The President presented to the Senate the following me-
morial from the liquor dealers of Baltimore City :

To the Honorable,

The President and Members of the Senate.

Gentlemen:—Class legislation is an infliction to which.

every Legislative Body is subject, and it is especially to be
deplored, in that, for at least the time being, and during
each agitation of the subject sought to be legislated upon,
that particular branch, of trade or industry to be affected by

the passage of the measure presented are paralyzed, and it
