On motion by Mr. Gorman, it was

Ordered, That a Committee of three, of which the Presi-
dent of the Senate shall be chairman, be appointed to revise
the rules of the Senate.

In pursuance of the aforegoing order, the President ap-
pointed as said Committee Senators Gorman and Steiner.

On motion by Mr. Humphreys, it was
Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal of the Senate
that Wm. S. Gordy, Doorkeeper, is detained at home by
sickness.

On motion by Mr. Joyce,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Senators to intro-
duce a bill to repeal, amend and re-enact an Act to provide
for the revision of the lists of registered voters in this State,
passed at the January Session eighteen hundred and seventy

six.

On motion by Mr. Cooper,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesapeake

Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill to repeal and re-

enact certain sections of chapter 181 of the Acts passed in

1874, relating to oysters, so that the entire waters of the

Chesapeake Bay shall be open to the citizens of the State,

and the waters of the counties shall be open to the citizens of

the respective counties bordering thereon.

On motion by Sulivane,

Leave. was granted to the Commit fee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act to, repeal Section 46,
sub-Section 1, of an Act of the General Assembly, passed at
January Session 1872, entitled an Act to repeal Sections
46, 47, 55, and 56 of Article 75 of the Code of Public Gene-
ral Laws, entitled "Pleading, Practice and Process; " also,
the Act of the General Assembly, passed at the January Ses-
sion 1870, Chapter 420, entitled an Act to amend the third
Section of the 75th Article of the Code of Public General
Laws relating to "Pleading, Practice and Process, " by sub-

stituting the following in lieu thereof, and to re-enact the
same with amend ments.

On motion by Mr. Dennis.

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill to add additional Sections to Article
30, Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Crimes and Pun-

ishments. "

Which was adopted.
