Mr. McLane moved to reconsider the vote by which the
unfavorable report was adopted on

House bill entitled an Act to confirm to the heirs and as-
signs of Samuel McDonald, the exclusive right to wharf at
the southern end of South street, in the City of Baltimore,
and to make valid to them the title conveyed to them. by the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, by a deed dated on or
about the twenty-fourth day of January, in the year 1854.

On the question being put, it was decided in the affirms
tive.

Said bill was then recommitted to the Committee on In-
valid Deeds and Defective Proceedings,

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Safe Deposit
Company of Baltimore, Chapter 242, of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1864, and the several Acts amendatory
thereof, viz: The Acts of 1867, Chapter 82, of 1868, Chap-
ter 394, and of 1876, Chapter 27, by the last of which the
name of said Company was changed to the Safe Deposit and
Trust Company of Baltimore.

Being upon its second reading,
Mr. Peter submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In the 4th line of Section 3, after the word "Court," in-
sert "in the City of Baltimore," and strike out the words
"in this State."

Which was rejected by yeas and nays as follows :
