OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE,
Annapolis, February 1st, 1878.

The Senate Joint Resolution extending the term of service
of the Hon. George W. Dobbin, Associate Judge of the Su-
preme Bench of Baltimore City, having passed both branches
of the General Assembly of Maryland, was this day filed in
the office of the Clerk of the Court of Appeals.

AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY,
Secretary.

On motion by Mr. Ford,

At 1 o'clock, P. M., the Senate went into Executive Ses-
sion.

At 1. 05, P. M. j the Senate resumed the consideration of
Legislative business.

When,

On motion by Mr. Humphreys,
The Senate adjourned.

TUESDAY, February 5th, 1878.
Senate met pursuant to adjournment.
Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Wood.
Present at roll call the following Senators:
