On motion by Mr. Bannon, it was

Ordered, That the Librarian be requested to furnish six
copies of the Code and Supplements, and procure a copy of the
Constitution for each Member.

On motion by Mr. McLane,

1 he twentieth rule of the Senate was unanimously sus-
pended.

On motion by Mr. Hepbron, it was

Ordered, That five days per diem and mileage be allowed
to Eugene Goodin, Sergeant-at-Arms, and G. H. W. Ruark,
Doorkeeper, for services rendered the Senate at the present
Session, and the Chairman of the Committee on Claims is
hereby directed to pay said amount.

On motion by Mr. Sulivane,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance, (hereafter
to be appointed, ) to introduce a bill, entitled an Act to re-
peal Section 4, Article 64, of Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Mortgages. "

On motion by Mr. Bannon,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, (hereafter to be appointed, ) to introduce a bill to regu-
late the taking and signing exceptions in trials at law in the
Courts of this State.

On motion by Mr. Dennis,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings (hereafter to be appointed, ) to introduce a bill to re-
peal and re-enact the 41st section of Article 29, of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled "Courts. "

On motion of Mr. Bannon,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations,
(hereafter to be appointed, ) to introduce a bill to appoint a
Joint Commission, to plant boundary stones on the line re-
cently established between Virginia and Maryland.
