One thing of which we can be sure, —America and the United States will
never give* up this fight until. slavery has been beaten, until Freedom has been
restored throughout the world. One hundred and thirty million Americans are
united today with 800, 000, 000 people of the United Nations, in the. patriotic
determination to win through to Victory, no matter what the cost. 'Only thus
can the menace to freedom, represented by Hitler and Japan j be destroyed; only
thus can be restored throughout the world the principles of decency and human-
ity upon which America is founded, and without which there can be no hope for
continued Peace upon the earth!
