HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
March 16, 1904.
The following Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, originating in the House of Delegates, were
presented to the Governor for his approval this day
at 10 o'clock, a. m.
Chapter 88. "An Act to incorporate the Provident
Savings Bank of Preston, Md."
Chapter 89. "An Act to repeal section 29 A of Ar-
ticle 52 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, as enacted by chapter 11 of the Acts of 1900,
and to re-enact the same with amendments."
Chapter 90. "An Act to repeal sections 218, 219, 220,
221, 222 and 223 of Article 1 of the Public Local Laws,
of the State of Maryland, title 'Allegany County,' and
to re-enact the same with amendments, and to provide
for the inauguration and maintenance of night school
in Allegany county."
Chapter 91. "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 27 of chapter 157 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January Session 1902, entitled 'An Act to repeal sec-
tions 27 and 28 of Article H of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title 'Caroline County,' sub-title 'Birds
and Game,' and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.' "
Chapter 92. "An Act to add an additional section to
Article 23 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title 'Corporations,' to be known as 'Sec-
tion 221 A,' sub-title 'Safe Deposit Companies,' defin-
ing and restricting the terms upon which trustees,
executors or administrators or other fiduciaries rent-
ing boxes or safes in safe deposit vaults in this State
shall be permitted to have access and entry to the
same, in person or by deputy."
Chapter 93. "An Act to repeal chapter 589 of the
Acts of 1902, entitled 'An Act to regulate the payment
of wages by corporations or associations engaged in
mining or quarrying, manufacturing, operating elec-
tric railroads, street railways, telegraphs, and tele-
phone and express companies, doing business in Mary-
land, and to re-enact the same as follows :"
