Mr. Atkinson, from Select Committee, reported
favorably,

House bill, File No. 465, entitled "An Act to amend
and add certain new sections to Article 18 of the Pub-
lic Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title 'Queen
Anne's County,' sub-title 'Queenstown,' as amended
and re-enacted by chapter 542 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, at its January session,
1892, empowering the Commissioners of Queenstown
to compel property holders to erect and build side
walks."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Dodson, from Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,

House bill, File No. 546, entitled "An Act to repeal
sections 2, 3 and 6 of chapter 498 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its session
of 1898, entitled 'An Act to provide for maintaining
and keeping in repair the public roads of Worcester
county and to repeal all laws not inconsistent there-
with so far as the same apply to Worcester county,'
and to add a new section thereto to follow immediate-
ly after section 7 and to be known as 'Section 7 A."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Charles, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill, File No. 558, entitled "An Act to add
an additional section to Article 22 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, title 'Washington County,' sub-title
'Hancock,' to follow section 241, and to be designated
as 'Section 241 A,' giving power to the Burgess and
Commissioners of Hancock to regulate, license and
tax restaurants, breweries and all saloons and other
places where malt, spirituous, vinous and fermented
liquors are sold.' "

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
