thorize the Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington
Railroad Company to build a new bridge over the
Susquehanna river between Havre de Grace in Har-
ford county and Perryville in Cecil county, in the
State of Maryland, to provide for the disposal of the
present railroad bridge; to acquire additional right of
way and construct, operate and maintain additional
railroad tracks and lines of railway."

REPORT.
To the House of Delegates :
The Committee on Elections have carefully inquired
into the contested election cases from Calvert and St.
Mary's counties, have examined the testimony pro-
duced on behalf of the various parties, and have heard
argument wherein deemed advisable, and now respect-
fully recommend that the petitions of the contestants
Estep Paddy and Leroy L. Chaney, of Calvert county,
and George R. Garner, of St. Mary's county, be dis-
missed, and the following named contestees be declared
legally elected members of the House of Delegates :
Benson B. D. Bond and Oliver D. Simmons, of Cal-
vert county; William T. Wilkinson, of St. Mary's
county.
