PETITIONS MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
Mr. Dodson presented a petition of Gustavus P.
Jones and eighty other citizens of Talbot county, ask-
ing that the dividing line between the oyster tongers
and the scrapers ground in the Choptank river on the
the Talbot county side, be more clearly defined.
Which was referred to the Talbot delegation.
Also,
Petition from E. L. Dewm and eighty-two other
citizens of Talbot county, protesting against the en-
actment of the Haman oyster bill.
Which was referred to the Committee on Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries.
Also,
Petition from Judge Wm. R. Martin and one hun-
dred and one other citizens of Talbot county, opposing
the passage of the proposed law which will allow citi-
zens of Trappe District to shoot partridges and rabbits
two weeks earlier then permitted by the present law.
Which was referred to the Talbot delegation,
Mr. Jackson presented petition from Wm. H. Had-
daway and 34 other citizens of Talbot county protest-
ing" against the enactment of the Haman Oyster bill.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
