Ordered, That the Insolvency Committee be em-
powered to employ a young lady stenographer.

On motion of Mr. Milbourne, it was
Ordered that the use of this room Thursday evening
after 7 o'clock be granted to the Chesapeake Bay
Committee for the purpose of being addressed by Hon.
Thomas C. Weeks and Judge Magruder, provided the
House adjourns for the day prior to that time.

consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to the
acquisition and holding by the 'Trustees of the Mary-
land Annual Conference of the Methodist Protestant
Church of a certain lot of ground in the city of Balti-
more."
