ORDERS.

On motion of Mr. Lock, it was

Ordered That Mr. Bald be excused from to-day's
session on account of death in his family.
On motion of Mr. Jenkins, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Drumm be excused from to-day's
session on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Moore, it was

Ordered, That the Comptroller of the State, be and
he is hereby requested to furnish to this House a
statement showing all the revenues from the State
Oyster Tax and licenses of every description and the
disbursements on account of the oyster industry in
this State for the oyster season of 1902-1903.
Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Williams, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Johnston be excused on account
of important business.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Duvall,

A bill entitled "An Act to pay Charles E. Remsen,
for losses incurred by the slaughtering of cattle in-
fected with tuberculosis, which slaughtering was
caused by the action of the Health Officers of the
State."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
By Mr. Howard,

A bill entitled "An Act to add an additional section
to Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Garrett County,' sub-title 'County Commissioners,'
and to be known as 'Section 37 A,' to require the clerk
of the County Commissioners to mail or deliver com-
missions to the Supervisors of Roads."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Garrett delegation and Mr. Fryer.
