ported favorably, with amendments.

House bill, File No. 329, entitled "An Act to repeal
tion 138 of Article 77 of the Code of Public General.
Laws, title 'Public Education,' sub-title 'School At-
tendance,' as enacted by chapter 269 of the Acts of
1902, and to re-enact the same with amendments."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In section 138, line 5, strike out the word "and"
after "Allegany County."

Same section and same line, after the words "Wash-
ington County," add the words "and Frederick
county."

Which were adopted.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Gill, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
Senate bill, File No. 186, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments, section 44 D of Article
14 of volume 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title 'Howard County,' sub-title 'County
Commissioners and County Collectors.' "
