INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Mitchell,

A bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter of the
Hagerstown Railway Company of Washington county,
Maryland, a corporation duly incorporated under the
provisions of Article 23, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, to authorize it to buy, sell, or lease
or consolidate with the Hagerstown and Myersville
Railway Company, the Hagerstown West End Rail-
way Company, or any other railroad or railway, and
to connect or enter into a traffic agreement with the
said railway companies, or any other railroad or rail-
way company, and also to authorize and empower the
said Hagerstown and Myersville Railway Company
and the Hagerstown West End Railway Company, or
either of them, to sell, lease or consolidate with or
enter into traffic agreement with the said Hagerstown
Railway Company of Washington county, Maryland,
or any other railroad or railway company, and to
make the charter of the Hagerstown Railway Com-
pany of Washington county perpetual."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 1 of chap-
ter 282 of the Acts of General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January session of 1894, entitled 'An
Act to provide for the examination and auditing an-
nually of the accounts of the Board of County School
Commissioners for Caroline county, the Trustees of
the Poor of Caroline county and the County Treasurer
of Caroline county, and to require the appointment of
an auditing committee with power to summons and
