following restrictions, and am under the necessity of
qualifying, in those particulars, my concurrence in
the foregoing report, viz :

1. In section 2, line 8, after the word "purposes,"
insert the following words:

"Provided, however, that no public service corpor-
ation shall be formed for more than one purpose."

2. In section 24, line 2, after the word "State," in-
sert the following words:

"Excepting public service corporations,"

B. In section 28, line 11, after the word "expedient,"
insert the following words:

"Provided that nothing herein contained shall be
held or construed to authorize any public service cor-
poration, or any corporation which proposes or per-
forms public service powers or duties, to make any
such sale, lease or exchange except to or with another
public service corporation of this State, formed for the
same general purpose."

Which was read and ordered spread upon the Jour-
nal, and referred to the Committe on Corporations.

Mr. Hopkins presented

A Petition from citizens of Neck district in Dor-
chester county asking for the passage of a law pro-
hibiting sale of cider in said district.

Which was read, and referred to the Dorchester
delegation.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS.

The following order came up as unfinished business:

Ordered, That the State Librarian be and is hereby
directed to furnish to each Delegate the usual amount
of stationery, to-wit: Twenty-five dollars ($25), and
direct the same amount to be allowed to the Chief
Clerk, Journal Clerk, Reading Clerk, Chief Engrossing
Clerk and Sergeant-at-Arms; and the Chief Clerk
shall hand this order to the State Librarian imme-
diately.
