priate a sum of money for the maintenance of the
Washington County Hospital Association."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Also favorably,

House bill, File No. 388, entitled "An Act author-
izing and directing the Mayor and Council of Hagers-
town, in their discretion, to levy and collect annually,
in perpetuity, a sum of money, in aid of the main-
tenance of a hospital, to be established in the town of
Hagerstown, Washington county."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Downs, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill, File No. 370, entitled "An Act to add
three additional sections to Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title 'Anne Arundel County,' sub-
title 'Annapolis,' to follow immediately after section
55 and to be known as 'Sections 55 A, 55 B and 55 C,'
providing for the issuance of traders' licenses in the
city of Annapolis."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

favorably.

Senate bill, File No. 167, entitled "An Act to lay
out and establish a new election district in Somerset
county, out of a part or parts of Tangier District No.
9, of said county, lo be called and known as 'Deal's
Island District No. 14,' and to provide for the appoint-
ment of Justices of the Peace, the enforcement of ex-
isting local laws now in force in the territory compris-
ing said new district, and to place said district with
St. Peters, Dames Quarter and Tangier Districts in the
allotment of a County Commissioner and Tax Collec-
tor for said county, as now exist for said district by
