REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Walls, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably.

House bill, File No. 375, entitled "An Act to auth-
orize the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's
county and the Town Commissioners of Centreville, to
sell, grant and convey in fee-simple or lease, a part of
the public land in Centreville, Queen Anne's county,
Maryland."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Bennett, from Select Committee, reported
favorably,

House bill, File No. 400, entitled "An Act to repeal
section 186 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title 'Wicomico County,' sub-title 'State's At-
torney,' and to add a new section to said Article 23.
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'County Com-
missioners,' giving the County Commissioners power
to appoint its counsel and to regulate his fees, said
section to follow section 17, and to be designated as
Section 17 A.' "

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Downs, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

Senate bill, File No. 126, entitled "An Act to repeal
section 79 as re-enacted by chapter 281 of the Acts
of 1890. and repealed and re-enacted by chapter 103
of the Acts of 1894, and as repealed and re-enacted
by chapter 151 of the Acts of 1900, 80, 81 and 82, of
Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Anne Arundel County,.' sub-title 'Birds, Game and
Foxes,' as repealed and re enacted by chapter 103 of
of the Acts of 1894, and as repealed and re-enacted
by chapter 152 of the Acts of 1900, so far as the same
relates to Anne Arundel county, and to re-enact the
same with amendments and add additional sections."
