A bill entitled "An Act to regnlate the erection,
construction and maintenance of private and public
buildings in the Twelfth and Fourteenth Election
Districts of Baltimore county, and to authorize and
empower the County Commissioners of said county to
adapt rules and regulations in reference thereto, and
to provide for the appointment and compensation by
fees of Inspectors of Buildings for said district, and
require that the erection and construction of all build-
ings in said districts shall be under their supervision
and subject to the regulations of said County Com-
missioners, and further to provide for the construction
of fire-escapes for school houses throughout Baltimore
county."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Baltimore county delegation.

A bill entitled "An Act for the incorporation of the
town of Friendsville in District No. 2, in Garrett
county; and for the amendment of Article 12 of the
Code of Public Laws of the State of Maryland, entitled
'Garrett County,' by adding additional sections there-
to, to be known as ''Sections 111 A, 111 B, 111 C, 111
D, 111 F, 111 G, 111 H, 111 J, 111 K, 111 M, 111 O,
111 P, 111 Q, and to follow immediately after section
111 of said Article 12, and to be known by the sub-
title 'Friendsville,' and to be exempt to the town of
Friendsville in District No. 2 in Garrett county as
herein bounded and described from the operations of
the provisions of chapter 77 of the Acts of 1898, en-
titled 'An Act to prohibit the sale of spirituous or fer-
mented liquors or lager beer in Election District No.
2, of Garrett County? "
