FRIDAY, March 4th, 1904.

The House met at 10 o'clock, a. m., and was opened
with prayer by the Rev. Mr. Orrick.

Present at the call of the roll the following mem-
bers :

Walbach, Benson, Cockey, Fitzsimmons, Green, Jack-

Wells, Walls, Butler, Wilson, Carey, Dennis, Kirbin,

McComas, Goslin, Willey, Becker, Bosse, Lipman,
Norris, Reed, Morrison, Murphy, of Baltimore city,

The Journal of March -3rd, was read and approved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS, &u.

Mr. Feaga presented petition of citizens and tax
payers of Allegany county, asking for the passage of
a law prohibiting the sale of intoxicating liquors in
District No. 1, of Allegany county, Maryland, for the
term of two years, or during the construction of the
Wabash or Western Maryland railroad in said dis-
trict.

Which was referred to the Allegany delegation.
