REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Goslin from Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably.

Senate bill, File No. 104, entitled "An Act to ap-
propriate a sum of money to pay Isaac Benesch &
Sons, Frank A. Munroe and the Evening Capital, for
furniture and so forth furnished the Senate and House
of Delegates of Maryland."

Which was read the second time.
Also favorably,

House bill, File No. 6, entitled "An Act to appro-
priate a sum of money to pay Noah C. Sterling for the
loss of the vessel 'Martha E. Freeman.' "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 1, line 5 strike out 'Fifteen Hundred
Dollars,' and insert 'Seven Hundred and Fifty Dol-
lars.' "

engrossed for a third reading.

House bill, File No. 47, entitled "An Act for the
assistance of the King's Daughters and Sons in Mary-

courage manufacturing in the State of Maryland by
