A bill entitled "An Act to appropriate the sum of
tive thousand dollars to the County Commissioners of
Allegany county, in order to re-imburse them for an
advancement of said sum in order to complete and
finish the State Normal School buildings at Frostburg,
in the year 1901."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
By Mr. Jackson,

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments sections 11 and 24 of chapter 619, of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
Session of 1900, an Act to provide for the election of
a county treasurer for Talbot county, and defining the
duties and powers of said treasurer."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Talbot delegation.
By Mr. Lowman,

A bill entitled "An Act requiring the Philadelphia,
Baltimore & Washington Railroad Company to keep
flagmen stationed during certain hours at the crossing
of said railroad over certain public roads in Anne
Arundel county."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

Mr. Moore presented the following
RESOLUTION.

Resolved, That we the members of the Northwestern
Improvement Association, do hereby urge upon the
members of the House of Delegates, of the State of
Maryland, to use every effort to secure the passage of
the bills now pending in favor of the Wabash Rail-
road and which have already passed the Senate, and
which we recognize will be of inestimable value to our
city and State.
