''not less than four dollars, nor."

In line 13 of section 1, after the word "for" strike
out "not less than thirty days."

engrossed for a third reading.

House bill, File No. 193, entitled "An Act to repeal
section 276 of Article 93 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title 'Testamentary Law,' sub-title 'Sales,' and
re-enact the same with amendments."

Unfavorable report adopted.

Mr. Morrison, from Committee on Education, re-
ported favorably,

House bill, File No. 10, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments section 42 of Article 77
of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Public Edu-
cation."

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Goslin, from Ways and Means Committee, re-
ported favorably,

House bill, File No. 276, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments section 4 of chapter 102
of the Acts of 1896, entitled 'An Act to provide for
formation of Farmers' Institutes in the State of Mary-
land, and to appropriate a sum of money therefor, as
amended by chapter 363 of the Acts of 1900.' "

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Also favorably, with amendment.

House bill, File No. 319, entitled "An Act placing
as a contingent fund at the disposal of the Governor,
(as contemplated in section 82, Article 3 of the Con-
stitution of Maryland) the sum of two hundred and
fifty thousand ($250,000) f or the relief of cases of des-
titution and need caused by the fire in Baltimore of
February 7th and 8th, 1904."
