Mr- Johnston, from Committee on Judiciary, re-
ported unfavorably,

House bill, File No. 19, entitled "An Act to author-
ize and empower the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore, to submit any question to popular vote and to-
add an additional section to Article 33. of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled 'Elections,' providing
for such submission to be known as 'Section 50 X,' to
follow section 50 of said Article."

Which unfavorable report was adopted.
Also, unfavorably,

House bill, File No. 25, entitled "An Act to repeal
sections 127 and 128 of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title 'Crimes and Punishments/
sub-title 'Gaming,' and to re-enact the same with
amendments."

Which unfavorable report was adopted.
Also favorably, with amendment,

House bill, File No. 117, entitled 'An Act to repeal
section 198 of Article 16 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title 'Chancery,' and re-enact the same with
amendments."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend line 14 by adding the words "or courtesy"
after the word "dower."

engrossed for a third reading.
