ceedings, as required by said Revised Statutes, that
the Joint Assembly shall then proceed to chose by a
viva voce vote of each member present who receives a
majority of all the votes of the Joint Assembly, a
majority of all the members elected to both Houses,
being present and voting, shall be declared duly elec-
ted; also, that if no person shall receive such majority
on that day, in Joint Assembly, then the Joint As-
sembly shall meet at 12 o'clock, meridian, of each day
succeeding, during the Session of the Legislature, and
shall take.at least one vote until such Senator is elected.
