Mr. Harrison, from Select Committee, reported un-
favorably,

House bill, File No. 180, entitled "An Act to add
an additional section to Article 11, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Frederick
County,' sub title 'Justices of the Prace and Con-
stables,' to be known, as 'Section '289 C,' creating a
Police Justice of the Peace for the town of New Mar-
ket in New Market Election District No. 9, in Fred-
erick county."

Unfavorable report adopted.

BILLS—SECOND READING.

House bill, File No. 29, entitled "An Act to add
an additional section to Article 43 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, title 'Health' to be
numbered section 81 B."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In line 11, strike out the words "knowing the same
to contain any methyl" and insert in lieu thereof the
words "when the same contains any methyl."

Which was adopted.

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Also,

House bill, File No. 59, entitled ''An Act to regu-
late the practice of barbering in the State of Mary-
land, to establish a State Board of Barber Examiners,
to provide for the sanitary inspection of barber shops,
and to provide penalties for the violation thereof."

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
