Mr. Dobson presented a petition from M. T. Golds-
borough, John Mason and 67 other citizens of Talbot
county, requesting the Talbot county delegation to
vote for the Hon. Isador Rayner for United States
Senator.

Which was read and referred to the Talbot delega-
tion.

ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Hall, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Morrison be excused from at-
tendance at this day's session on account of illness.

On motion of Mr. Stump, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Feaga, of Allegany county, be
excused from attendance at this session on account of
business.

On motion of Mr. Benson, it was

That a typewriter be purchased for the use of the
Speaker.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Collins, it was
Ordered, That when the House adjourns tonight it
stands adjourned till 11 o'clock a. m. tomorrow, Jan.
