On motion of Mr. Lipman, it was

Ordered, That the thanks of the House of Delegates
be tendered to the A. S. Abell Company for copies of
the Baltimore Sun Almanac, a hand book of political
statistics and information of especial value to Mary-
landers, which have been supplied to the members and
officials of this House.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Hitchcock, it was

Ordered, That Mr. McComas be excused on account
of business.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 690 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title 'City of Baltimore,' and title
'Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks.' "

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.

Also,

A bill entitled "An Act to abolish the distress for
ground rents."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Judiciary.

By Mr. Evans,

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 117 of
Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws, of Mary-
land, title 'Baltimore County,' sub-title 'Health and
Sanitary Officers," as repealed and re-enacted by chap-
ter 515 of the Acts of 1902 and to re-enact the same
with amendments."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Baltimore county delegation.

By Mr. Hill,

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 4 of chapter 102 of the Acts of
1896, entitled 'An Act to provide for formation of
