Durham, be excused from attendance at this day's
session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Henkel, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Lock be excused from to-night's
session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Bennett, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Messick, Mr. Hearn, Mr. Dennis
and Mr. Carey, be excused from attendance of this
evening's session on account of business.
On motion of Mr. Milbourne, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Miles be excused from to-night's
session on account of death in his family.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.

A bill entitled. "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 42 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title 'City of Baltimore,' sub-title
'City Collector,' as re-enacted by chapter 123 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1898."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Baltimore city delegation.
By Mr. Evans,

A bill entitled "An Act to amend section 6 B of chap-
ter 431 of the Acts of 1900 and to re-enact the same
with amendments."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Hygiene.
Also,

A bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Local Boards
of Health of the counties and the County Commis-
sioners of the several counties where they exercise
such powers to designate and appoint as sub-registrars
to issue burial permits, the physician or physicians
