Prince George's county to appoint attorneys to defend
persons indicted for crimes and misdemeanor in said
Court, and to fix the compensation for services rend-
ered by said, attorneys in said cases."

Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays."

House bill, File No. 62, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact section H of chapter 175 of the Acts of
1896, entitled 'An Act to amend and extend the char
ter of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company in Balti-
more county.' "

Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill, File No. 81, entitled "An Act to trans-
fer to the Kent and Cecil Light, Power and Railway

Company, a body corporate, duly incorporated by

chapter 357 of the Acts of 1902, the sum of $58,000,
which by the Act of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1894, chapter 85, was appropriated and trans-
ferred to the Elkton and Middletown Railroad Com-
pany of Cecil county, and the Elkton and Southern
Railroad Company in certain contingencies, and which
said sum was transferred by the Act of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1900, chapter 129, to the

Cherry Hill, Elkton and Chesapeake City Electric
Railway Company of Cecil county, in certain contin-
gencies."

Which was'read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
